What would you do? As part of the Procurement Supplier Services team, the Supplier Integration Specialist is responsible for the full end-to-end integrated enablement of a supplier to the Network.
Suppliers have multiple options to transact with their buyers on the Network. Integration, or electronic system-to-system transactions (via cXML, EDI, PIDX, etc.), is one method. The Supplier Integration Specialist’s primary function is to manage multiple supplier Integration projects which might include facilitating the supplier’s onboarding and CIF or Punchout catalog enablement in addition to the supplier’s ERP integration.
The Supplier Integration Specialist will focus on partnering with cross-functional supplier enablement teams, follow global and regionally defined processes, and use project management skills to proactively manage the projects until the buyer and suppliers are successfully ready for Production transactions.
Key tasks include dealing with both Customers and Suppliers of the Ariba Network and integrating ERPs of Suppliers with the Ariba Network based on the customers’ requirements, troubleshooting technical errors, and working closely with Ariba clients over the phone. In addition, from a project management perspective, working with both Customers and Suppliers of the Ariba Network to drive the integration goals within given constraints and timelines.
This role requires a good understanding of business, project management, and technical areas, and while this is not a programming, development role, or project manager role, a sound understanding along with previous experience/knowledge in EDI and/or cXML eCommerce integration is a plus. The SIS can analyze buyer requirements against supplier capabilities and provide consultation to all project parties as it relates to supplier integration best practices.
The Supplier Integration Specialist uses a digital mindset to be a Procurement Supplier Services Ambassador throughout the enablement process by providing outstanding experiences in every interaction with our customers.
What are we looking for? •Ability to establish strong client relationship
•Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
•Hands-on experience with trouble-shooting
