Responsibilities:
Serve as an expert consultant to senior business stakeholders, advising on strategic training initiatives and organizational development plans.
Conduct advanced needs assessments and data analysis to identify and address complex training gaps and opportunities.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide training programs using advanced delivery methods and technologies, including ILT, VILT, e-learning, blended learning, on-the-job training, quick reference guides, user guides, and social learning.
Ensure integration of training programs with organizational strategies, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
Lead the creation of comprehensive evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of training programs on organizational success.
Facilitate high-level training sessions, workshops, and seminars for trainers and other stakeholders.
Mentor and coach Level I, II, and III partners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth by staying at the forefront of industry advancements and contributing to the field through research, presentations, publications, or engagement in professional organizations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field.
Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience is required.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Expert proficiency with e-learning development tools and
Experience working in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Proficiency with Articulate 360, Vyond, or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of Instructional Design and Adult Learning principles.
Extensive experience managing high level stakeholders and SMEs.
Familiarity with FAA regulations, especially 14 CFR Part 145 and Part 65.
Certification in instructional design or e-learning development (e.g., ATD, CPLP, ISPI, or similar) preferred.
Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or training delivery—preferably in an aviation maintenance or technical environment.
Experience developing training programs compliant with FAA requirements.
Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia).
Experience conducting needs analysis and job/task analysis, especially for technical or regulatory environments.
Experience with both classroom and online/virtual training design and delivery.
Extensive experience managing training projects from analysis to evaluation.
Extensive experience creating technical, compliance, or process training in a highly regulated environment.
Ability to coach and mentor peers and junior team members.
Extensive background in needs analysis and evaluation of training effectiveness.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification in Instructional Design or e-learning (e.g., CPLP, ATD).
Experience with audio and/or video production.
A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certificate or prior hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
