Manufacturing Engineer Scope of Work
The Engineer shall provide Manufacturing Engineering services in support of Gas Compressor manufacturing operations, including but not limited to:

1.1 Manufacturing Process Development & Support

Develop, validate, and improve manufacturing processes for gas compressor assemblies and components.
Create and maintain routings, work instructions, standard work.
Support new product introduction (NPI) and capacity expansions.
Identify and resolve manufacturing constraints affecting safety, quality, delivery, or cost.
Create, update, and maintain manufacturing data and documentation within enterprise systems including Baan, Windchill, and SFIS.
Create and maintain Operations Instruction Sheets (OIS) as required.

1.2 Production & Shop Floor Support

Provide daily manufacturing support to resolve production issues and deviations.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective actions.
Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean, waste reduction, cycle time improvement).
Utilize Baan, Windchill, and SFIS to support production, issue resolution, and data accuracy.

1.3 Tooling, Equipment, and Capital Support

Define tooling, fixturing, and equipment requirements for gas compressor manufacturing.
Support equipment specification, acceptance, and commissioning.
Participate in capital justification and validation activities when applicable.

1.4 Quality & Compliance

Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, ergonomic, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Support audits and corrective actions as required.
