  • Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
  • Annual Salary Pay: $85K+ depending on experience
  • Schedule: Mon – Fri 8am - 5pm

The Quality Manager promotes, oversees, and develops compliance with the quality management system. The ensure the facility requirements are documented and followed according to company and customer specifications, and all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. The Quality Manager will lead the site Self Improvement Program (SIP) program and process improvement effort. They will ensure that appropriate documents are controlled such as SOP's, protocols, change control forms, audit records, and product release forms per approved SOP's and regulations. This manager will ensure GMPs are maintained/monitored, validations, housekeeping, maintenance, pest control, temperature and humidity monitoring, and training are performed to acceptable guidelines (at applicable sites). They will also ensure proper training for the Quality Team and will be the leader for ensuring CAPA's are investigated properly and documented. Must be HACCP Certified.

Ability to perform all quality roles on an as· needed basis. 

The People

Working in conjunction with the Quality, Warehouse, and Production Teams, the customer, and additional sites, reporting directly to the Director of Quality/ Sr. Quality Director. You will be an integral part of the IFS Team.


Essential Functions

  • Manage the performance of salaried employees as well as hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands.

  • Be responsible for the payroll of employees.

  • Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management.

  • Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.

  • Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred

  • Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required

  • Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required

  • Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations. advanced required

  • Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements. advanced required
