Your role

The Program Advisor is directly responsible for all student recruitment processes from first point of contact through to admissions. It is expected that the Program Advisor will have a comprehensive understanding of the University programs and courses, the selection processes, as well as the key marketing messages associated with each program offered and service provided at RMIT Vietnam. This position has a strong customer service emphasis in addition to a requirement to uphold standards and processes.

Reports to: Supervisor, Student Recruitment

Key Accountabilities

Customer Services

  • Effectively consult and provide advice and feedback on RMIT and its programs, entry requirements, admissions and selection processes to potential parents and students in a transparent and timely manner either via email, via telephone or through face to face interactions.

  • Coordinate complete student recruitment process from initial enquiry to the point of enrolment and ensure provision of high level of customer service across touchpoints with potential parents and students.

  • Coordinate with Student Administration and Student Admission teams to follow up and/or address any issues in the selection processes including, but not limited to, responding to and assisting potential students.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database management

  • Use CRM system appropriately and execute the email plan for prospective students.

  • With reference to guidelines of the data entry processes into the CRM, ensure high level of accuracy across all information obtained through recruitment events and related activities.

  • Ensure all information is captured into the CRM in a timely manner and report on effectiveness of those events and activities.

Promotion Activities

  • Perform the role of Program Advisor across all student recruitment activities and promotional events;

  • Maintain abreast of competitors and their product offerings ensure understanding of points of differentiation and ensure they are communicated effectively to future students and parents;

  • Perform any other duties that may be required.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Demonstrated high-level communication skills, written and spoken (English and Vietnamese).

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position with a background from a customer services or sales environment.

  • Prior experience and proficiency with CRM systems/database systems.

  • Ability to create and deliver a presentation tailored to the audience's needs.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy when managing and communicating information, and when entering data

English Proficiency

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 5.5 (or equivalent Linguaskill 150).
