The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Associate System and Data Analyst to join the team in San Antonio, TX.
This is a versatile position combining customer support with an ability to directly work with onsite personnel dealing with mechanical and supply chain issues on aircraft. The team supports an Oracle based application called GOLDesp that is used across the site to support aircraft inventory, order management, procurement, repairs, modifications, scheduling and nonconformance management.
The selected candidate will investigate, analyze, and resolve application problems in a customer support role and be required to test software of a complex nature. You will also communicate with process owners, systems analysts and programmers, and system and database administrators to gather requirements and implement solid solutions.

Position Responsibilities:
Researches and performs basic analysis of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design
Assists customers to clarify basic requirements
Interprets and translates routine requirements into functional specifications
Assists in the development and execution of moderately complex tests to validate system functionality against specifications
Supports customer issues across the country and around the globe with a strong sense of urgency to comply with contractual responsibilities, deadlines, and delivery metrics
Prepares program documentation in compliance with established departmental standards and may be called upon to provide web based and in person training classes for the software
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience supporting both internal and external customers across multiple disciplines
1+ years of experience with database technologies using SQL or PL/SQL
1+ years of experience with testing hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience with Supply Chain Management and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul processes
Experience with GOLDesp
Experience with Logistic Support work and Military Standard Logistics System/Defense Logistics Management Standards (MILS/DLMS)
Experience gathering, examining, and interpreting information from different sources to generate effective solutions
Experience with problem-solving and think outside the box approach
Experience collaborating with programmers, systems analysts, and users to confirm inter-application operational effectiveness
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience generating and implementing new and useful ideas
