Industry Experience: Understanding of full value chain of Mining and Natural Resources industry that includes Extraction, Transportation and Processing of resources that come from Earth directly. This includes Mining, Mineral dressing and processing, Metals, Agro products, dairy, paper, cement, among others. Proven experience in building solutions for the above industries. Location: Bangalore Position Type: Full-time Job Summary: As Senior Manager - Information Technology Services, the candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of IT services and solutions tailored to the unique needs of clients within the Mining and Natural Resources industry. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in IT services, project management, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the mining sector. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Relationship Management: • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Mining and Natural Resources industry. • Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their IT requirements and align services accordingly. 2. Service Delivery: • Lead the delivery of IT services, ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of systems, applications, and infrastructure for clients. • Oversee project execution to meet client expectations and industry standards. 3. Strategic Planning: • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the IT services division, aligning with the evolving needs and trends in the Mining and Natural Resources sector. • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in service delivery. 4. Team Leadership: • Build and manage a skilled team of IT professionals, providing leadership, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. • Foster a collaborative and client-focused culture within the IT services division. 5. Project Management: • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and deliverables. 6. Continuous Improvement: • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services. • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in any of the following: Mining, Metallurgy, Mechanical, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 18 years of experience in IT services, with a focus on the Mining and Natural Resources industry. • Proven experience in client relationship management, project delivery, and team leadership. • Strong understanding of industry-specific technologies and regulatory requirements. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
