As a Regional Demand & Supply Planner, APAC you are part of the APAC Global Operations Business Unit and play a key role in partnering with the APAC commercial and leadership team.

This position supports all demand and supply-driven activities in the APAC region by providing sound analysis and input to mature the process further.

About You

We’re recruiting a Regional Supply and Demand Planner, APAC reporting to the Regional Demand & Supply Planning Manager, based in Singapore.

This is a varied role for someone with a strong foundation and experience in performing complex data analysis to drive the S&OP process.

This is an individual contributor role and are expected to work closely with another peer in the team.  You must have strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders / commercial / factories across the Asia Pacific region.  You must have a growth mindset, and analytical and problem-solving abilities to work through challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and drive the monthly S&OP meeting to align with the consensus plan with sales, supply and finance.
  • Analyse trends to drive improvements in forecast accuracy and forecast bias. Document assumptions related to major changes in the forecast.
  • Drive and generate 18 months of rolling sales forecast to align with the allocated supply.
  • Work collaboratively with supply planning to ensure the best quality demand signal is sent to production plants monthly.
  • Drive and ensure clear communication of the allocation target and forecasted demand from the business point of view.
  • Support Sales, New Product Launches and Product Management teams to detail monthly forecasts by plant/customer/SKU that maximise profit.
  • Interface with supply planning/sales and product managers to manage product allocations.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of sales strategies and initiatives including gaps and opportunities between the latest forecast and annual operating plans.
  • Hold regular stakeholder meetings to optimise sales opportunities.
  • Lead Demand Planning group capabilities and processes that help drive high performance and growth.
  • Track weekly/monthly forecast error results versus established targets and identify and report on the root cause for forecast error below targets.
  • Play a lead role in the region in the annual planning process across the S&OP planning team. Ensure linkage to monthly volume forecast as part of the financial forecasting process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to determine optimal SKU assortment that achieves margin, revenue, and optimal sales opportunities. Work with supply planning and finance to simulate what-if scenarios.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.

EHSQS

Perform, maintain and improve the EHS standards and requirements as set by the Company.  Participate in the company’s EHS program including training, audit etc., arranged by the company.

Location

This role is assigned to be based in Singapore, Biopolis (Buona Vista MRT).

What You’ll have

  • Degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in handling inventory and supply planning function
  • Strong experience in Demand Planning (preferred) with experience in conducting S&OP based on SKU by country business level.
  • Demand planning/allocation handling experience is highly desirable.
  • In-depth working knowledge in using SAP (ECC, OMP) with proficient Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive.
