Salary: from £29,000

Location: Davies Veterinary Specialists

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Hours: 40 hours per week, 1:6 weekend rota with time back, plus minimal on-call duties

Your role and responsibilities

We have the opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our Diagnostics Imaging team. As part of the Diagnostics team, you will work closely with our technicians, interns, residents, radiology specialists and fellow nurses on an interesting and varied caseload. You will have the opportunity to utilise a wide range of nursing skills as your involvement will include patients who are conscious, sedated, and anaesthetised in our state-of-the-art advanced imaging suite. To prepare you for this role you will receive a comprehensive 4-week induction programme.

You must be enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy being busy. Having high levels of accuracy and attention to detail are essential, together with being committed to providing high standards of service.

Although previous referral experience would be an advantage, it is not a requirement to apply. You will receive a comprehensive induction period of shadowing and support, to ensure you thrive in your new role!
