Summary Section 

Acts as a liaison between IT development groups and business units for the development and implementation of new ERP systems and enhancement of current ERP systems. Evaluates new applications, system requirements, developments in field of expertise, and evolving business needs to recommend appropriate solutions and alternatives. Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments as an entry level professional. Develops core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems. Typically requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

Responsibilities:

• The Job requires the candidate to act as a First, Second and / or Third level support resource to internal users, solving simple to complex SAP problems in Materials Management (MM), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Finance and Controls (FICO), Human Resources (HR), Time and Labor (TL), Project Systems (PS), SAP Security, and SAP Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC).
• Candidate should have in-depth knowledge in one of the SAP modules above. Knowledge in any other modules is an added advantage. Candidate would be trained to support the end user on all the SAP modules. Job requires the candidate to provide on-call, off-hours support, as required, and should be willing to work in shifts.
• Candidate should answer end user questions related to procedures, transactions, system status, and interact with functional teams and application developers in order to restore service, usability, identify issues, and fix problems. Under direct supervision, candidate should perform routine assignments and develop core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems.
• The job demands the candidate to deliver continued service to the end user by monitoring the company specific ticketing tool, where the end users log their tickets. Candidate should exhibit time management skills to prioritize the tickets and respond to escalations, and work on them ASAP. Candidate should be able to meet SLAs on the tickets and user expectations.

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Required 1+ years of experience in IT SAP handling and support internal users for multiple departments.
