The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Deposit and Transaction Product and Portfolio Management, Cash Channel Strategy, Merchant Solutions, Business Customer Onboarding, Customer lifecycle Management, and Business Customer Propositions.
 

You will join the EBB Deposit and Transactions Crew which is accountable for:

  • Deposit and Transactions product and portfolio management.
  • Product acquisition, in-life maintenance, and customer experience optimisation.
  • Product development and digitisation.
  • Cash and cheque strategy for Business and Institutional customers.

Team is also embarking on number of new initiatives to uplift its transactional banking suite within institutional and global banking space.

Do Work That Matters

As a Senior Product Manager (PM) you will be responsible and accountable for the development of Virtual Accounts capability and to ensure its configuration with bank’s deposit product suite. This will be a leading initiative to uplift Bank’s transactional banking capability and drive growth from meeting new customer need. You will also be working with the broader squad to deliver customer and strategic outcomes that align with the Crew OKRs. You will leverage your domain and industry knowledge, thought leadership, and strategic mindset to drive outcomes across the product lifecycle including launching new features and initiatives, monitoring and driving product performance, meeting key regulatory, operational risk and product governance requirements, optimising customer experience, and driving change across the business.

  • Experienced Product Manager with 7+ years of relevant experience in financial services, product management and/or process improvement.
  • Experienced in working with different new Technological and System team to uplift or build new capabilities.
  • Demonstrated People Leadership experience.
  • Risk Mindset –All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
  • Essential - Proven success in leading and executing a defined product strategic roadmap.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Successful change agent with a strong bias to challenging the status quo and guiding your product team through changes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management capabilities. Success in the role requires the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities – have the motivation and be comfortable with investigating and providing recommended options/solutions to complex problems and technical nuances.
