This position is supporting our Global Finance Services Division (GFSD), which provides comprehensive finance services for the enterprise and supports the finance-related functions of the business units, including accounting and reporting, pricing, information technology, strategy, economics, compliance, and sales and operations planning. The division includes Corporate Accounting, Business Economics, Global Pricing, Financial Planning & Analysis, Mergers & Acquisitions, Global Business Services and Corporate Treasury, as well as Indirect Procurement, Global Travel, Corporate Real Estate and Global Facilities. 

  

What You Will Do:

As an Associate Procurement Professional at Caterpillar, you will perform challenging work, while being exposed to a variety of GFSD functions in the areas of Procurement Cards (PCard), Travel and Entertainment (T&E) Cards, SAP Concur and Oversight Analytics.  Our PCard/T&E Card administration team provides excellent customer service to our card holders.   Day to day functions will consist of answering emails (we manage multiple email inboxes), responding to MS Teams messages, coordinating and assisting the PSC (Procurement Solutions Center), responding to and answering Pcard/T&E card policy questions, working in the card provider’s application, assisting with accounting grief, creating reports based off customer requests, answering expense book inquiries, etc.

Skills Needed:

  • Data-driven Decision Making: Knowledge of the data-driven decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to gather and analyze data to make organizational decisions that align with strategic business objectives and goals.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Additional Info:

  • This position is currently a hybrid in-office work model, requiring 3-day weekly office presence onsite at our Peoria Administration Building and remote work for the remaining days.  However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs

Summary Pay Range:

$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
