Our Legal engineering community is a diverse group of around 30 people split into three teams, developing the next generation of Legal research products. You will be working on a product-led team focusing on the Legal products within LexisNexis. We constantly iterate on our ways of working & technology platforms to improve our delivery performance and product offerings. We practice CI/CD, TDD, TBD and operate autonomous teams that are free to decide their local ways of working. Our teams are friendly, supportive and highly motivated, from day one expects to be in stand-ups and all team ceremonies. We run pair programming as standard, enabling you to make an immediate positive contribution.

LexisNexis is looking for a C# Software Engineer with full-stack .NET experience to join a team that is responsible for building our Lexis Plus and Lexis AI products.

The skills and technologies required below reflect what we do today and will evolve over time. We’re not expecting you to have mastered each of these before applying – what you don’t know, we can help you learn, and we’re always learning too, so you may bring skills that aren’t listed.
Responsibilities:
Having a good understanding at a general level of the technical stack and how aspects of the solution work together to realise the overall objective.
Proactively using test and deployment automation to assure the quality of delivered software
Engaging with product managers and wider stakeholders to ensure we continue to develop features of value for customers and business
Driving and advocating for continuous professional development throughout the team.
Drive to achieve a high level of competency and ability across a varied technical toolset, in accordance with the systems in use.
Working with complex data models
Completing complex bug fixes
Requirements:
Experience working with C# (.NET)
Experience building RESTful APIs (especially ASP.NET Web APIs)
Experience building good-looking and responsive web front ends, working with HTML5/CSS3/TypeScript and JavaScript/Angular.
Ideally, with experience using Test-Driven Development (TDD)
