As the Client Partner, you will work closely with premier brands from Entertainment to transform their business objectives into innovative platform strategies that drive partner success and extend Roblox’s place of importance within the greater entertainment landscape. 

Success in this role requires you to be a driven, collaborative team player with both strategic and creative abilities. You are a subject matter expert on both your client’s business and the Roblox ecosystem. Your strong sales competence allows you to drive revenue growth and meet targets while adeptly navigating complex internal networks and policy considerations This is a fast-paced, brand facing role that requires extensive industry expertise and demonstrated experience leading, developing and implementing groundbreaking partnerships on digital platforms.

This full time position is based in Los Angeles, CA, or San Mateo, CA (hybrid structure with 3 days onsite per week) and will report to the Head of Entertainment Partnerships.

You will: 

  • Deliver short and long term sales targets through new business development, pipeline creation and key account management
  • Collaborate closely with entertainment brands, creative agencies, marketing teams, and developers to inspire entry into Roblox ecosystem through a consultative sales approach
  • Build out and pitch creative growth and revenue-driving strategies to meet brands’ needs and inspire creativity and platform investment 
  • Alongside Group Director, implement the Roblox for Brands approach for dedicated vertical categories, develop narratives, playbooks, and create compelling sales propositions using internal and external data
  • Become a guide on Roblox content and trends, and use your expertise to build trust and inspire partners
  • Partner with Account Manager to develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of accounts and provide reports as needed

You have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 8+ years of Sales, Marketing, and/or Partnerships experience leading entertainment or related businesses accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of advertising, media math, and entertainment content ecosystems 
  • Ability to structure, negotiate, and manage complex strategic partnerships while meeting and exceeding sales goal
  • Proven track record of storytelling through data
  • Strong communication, presentational, interpersonal and customer service skills at executive levels of an organization; experience influencing key business decisions
  • Proven sales or business development success in a highly multifaceted, constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range
$192,590$229,370 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
