Position Summary

As a Materials Lead, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of 15-30 colleagues in a positive manner while managing the required daily operational functions of the backend mail pharmacy.  Builda strong team through training and developing talent in new and tenuredcolleagues. Performmonthly quality audits and review procedural errors and production rates with the members of your team.  Utilize your strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliverpositive and constructive feedback in a professional manner.  Conduct weekly five-minute meetingswith colleaguesto communicate company information. Evaluate both the workload and talenton a daily basisto maximize production and output.Act proactively to collaborate across multiple business units to achieve goals and problem solving. Perform other functions with the Materials/Inventory team.

Most importantly,the Materials Lead will be an extension of the Wilkes-Barre Pharmacymanagement team, projecting the company behaviors of Put People First, Create Simplicity, Rise to the Challenge, Inspire Trust, Join Forces, and Champion Safety and Quality.

The schedule* for theposition is:

  • Sunday 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Required Qualifications

  • Regular and predictable attendancebased on ourpolicy 

  • The ability to work business required overtime (BROT) whenneeded 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods oftime

  • Must tolerate heights up to 20 feet 

  • Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk andliftto50pounds 

  • Ability to read and understandEnglish 

  • Schedule flexibility for testing support, coverage when other leads are off, occasional early starts, late stays and weekendsupport 

  • The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and dividein all units of measure, usingwhole numbers, common fractions, and decimals (including the ability to calculate dosages and days'supply prescriptions 

  • Positive attitude. 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, Interpersonal and problem-solving/conflict resolution skills. 

  • Decision Making and team motivation skills.

  • Ability to use Excel, Word, Outlook,and PowerPoint with ease andefficiency   


Education

  • A verifiable High School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) is required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $35.29

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
