We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our team!
Our Intern Program is designed to support the development of students and recent graduates for future positions by offering one-on-one mentoring, peer and experiential learning, internal training programs, and much more. We are currently accepting applications for undergraduate and master’s level students or recent graduates seeking the opportunity to work in the investment management space.
Join the EPMO team to support reporting automation, PPM tool administration, and process optimization while assisting with coordination and communications across projects. The candidate will be working in a fast-past environment to support:
Responsibilities Include:
Performing activities in support of the design, execution and monitoring of EPMO Centres of Excellence (CoE’s) in Project Management, Business Analysis and Operational Excellence
Design reporting and analytics tools to assist in generating critical insight
Support automation of monthly reporting on financials, dashboards, and issues/risks
Support the use of the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool—including setup and troubleshooting—while gaining experience in optimizing workflows, dashboards, and configurations
Provide flexible support for EPMO activities, including coordination, reporting, documentation, and assisting with communications as needed.
Participate in the design and delivery of project governance materials
Maintaining and updating the EPMO intranet site using SharePoint
What You Need to Succeed:
Being diligent, detail oriented, and accurate when preparing deliverables
Being driven to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities
A desire to understand project management, project lifecycles and business analysis
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Critical and analytical thinker and fast learner
Ability to plan, prioritize and manage time
Having a collaborative mindset and positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and manage multiple priorities
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with strong problem-solving ability
A willingness to learn new things, are a self-starter and can work independently
Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Windows

The base salary range for this position is CAD $45,000 to $65,000. The placement within the range is determined by the role and assessment of the candidate’s year of study and relevant work experience. As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you with the specific details for this position, as well as the total rewards offering at IMCO.
