Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will have a typical day of working on designing and developing applications, collaborating with the team to understand requirements, and implementing solutions to meet business needs. Your creativity and technical expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality applications that drive business success. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Design and develop applications based on business process and application requirements. - Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure smooth functionality. - Conduct system testing and assist in user acceptance testing. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the documentation of application design, development, and maintenance processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle GoldenGate. - Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture. - Experience in database installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for databases. - Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. - Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques. - Experience in database security and user management. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues. - Knowledge of database monitoring and maintenance tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 yrs of full education is required.
