Role Description:
Hotspex Media is currently hiring for the open role of Campaign Manager, Paid Social. The Campaign Manager, Paid Social is responsible for independently managing and executing paid social media campaigns across key platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit). This role serves as a key day-to-day contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring campaigns are strategically sound, executed, and optimized to meet performance goals.
The Campaign Manager brings tactical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and platform knowledge to the forefront, acting as the operational and strategic backbone of campaign execution. The campaign manager paid social will be responsible for managing the strategic execution of a broad client portfolio.
Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience managing complex paid social campaigns, preferably in a media agency setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Ad Operations team to align on campaign implementation and testing strategies for cross-channel social campaigns.
Lead, plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns across multiple platforms, and objectives.
Own campaign performance from start to finish, including budgets, pacing, and KPIs
Collaborate with strategy teams to brief, review, and execute upcoming campaigns.
Perform ongoing campaign analysis and make optimization recommendations as needed
Manage a varied and diverse roster of clients and act as the primarily resource for paid social inquiries
Build and maintain campaign documentation including naming conventions, media plans, and Airtable trackers
Conduct QA and troubleshooting across tracking, targeting, and creative before launch
Deliver performance reports with actionable insights and observations
Stay ahead of platform updates and paid social trends, sharing learnings internally
Assist with onboarding and coaching of junior staff members
Work as a team! Sometimes you’ll be in crunch mode, sometimes it’ll be other members of our team. Have each other’s back!
Technical Skills and Requirements:
In-depth understanding of paid social ad platforms with experience with campaign trafficking, setup, targeting approaches, and multiple campaign objectives
3+ years With Meta and TikTok Ads Manager, with up-to-date buying certifications
2+ Years with Reddit and LinkedIn Ads Manager
Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets as well as experience working with a Project Management tool (eg Airtable, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet etc)
Deep familiarity in working with conversion events across key social channels including creating custom conversions, standard event mapping, and fundamental tag troubleshooting through tools such as pixel helper.
Experience setting up and managing A/B testing scenarios and experiments, evaluating performance and platform insights to generate recommendations for improved performance.
Ability to present internally and externally as needed.
Soft Skills:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Stay up to date on platform trends, new ad products, paid social best practices
Comfortable joining client calls and responding to client communication is a strong asset
A fundamental understanding of SEM and Programmatic channels is required; familiarity with omnichannel strategies and their impact on overall campaign performance is an advantage.
