Job Description

The Flow Receiver performs all receiving and putaway functions including unloading, RF verification, staging of product, handling of cross dock, and selection of flow-through product.

This is a overnight position- Hours are 12:10AM to 10:40AM- 4-10hour shifts.

Responsibilities                                                                                 

  • Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work all scheduled shifts.

  • Operates powered pallet jack/forklift in accordance with OSHA and Whole Foods regulations to unload and move product.

  • Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work environment.

  • Abide by all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and Facility.

  • Reports all accidents and injuries to Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately.

  • Unloads truck shipments to be counted and verified against BOL, records in WMS and stages for putaway.

  • Inspects inbound product to ensure compliance with WFM and food safety regulations.

  • Accurately labels product for putaway after accurate verification.

  • Performs putaways as needed.

  • Properly maintains all equipment associated with the position.

  • Accurately receive, stage, and select flow-through product.

  • Accurately check in and stage all cross dock.

  • Clears receiving areas of product, recyclable materials and trash.

  • Loads all recyclable materials and other products to be shipped on to truck.

  • Accurately completes all inbound paperwork.

  • Attend all team and facility meetings.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate all necessary equipment

  • Meets all customer service expectation and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors and fellow team members

  • Ability to complete all tasks in a thorough, accurate and timely manner

  • Working understanding of and compliance with all WFM quality goals, and thorough product knowledge

  • Demonstrated responsibility and accountability in recognizing and accomplishing all tasks

  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in approach with all paperwork

  • Experience in all aspects of receiving operations (1 year)

The wage range for this position is $21.50 - $38.70 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers “Whole Benefits".
