Role Summary

Steel Point is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Business Process Analyst to support Information Technology (IT) Operations. The role involves analyzing, optimizing, and reengineering IT processes to enhance operational efficiency, align with organizational goals, and improve service delivery. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between IT teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that IT operations effectively support the broader mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate existing IT operations workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process enhancements to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Use business process modeling techniques to document and visualize current and future state processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for IT operational processes and systems. Develop comprehensive documentation, including process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and business cases.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track operational performance and process improvements.
• Assess IT systems and tools, ensuring alignment with business needs and recommending solutions for integration and optimization.
• Support IT teams in implementing new systems or updates to existing systems to streamline operations.
• Organize and lead workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews to align priorities and gather input.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business process analysis, IT operations, or a related role.
• Proven track record of successfully reengineering processes and implementing operational improvements.
• Proficient in process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Previous experience with IRS
