Our client is a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, dedicated to improving patient outcomes. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Sales Representative with a background in dietetics and nutrition to join their team on a 12-month contract.

Job Summary: The Medical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our client’s medical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, dietitians, and nutritionists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dietetics and nutrition, with the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of our products to potential clients.

Location: Midrand, Johannesburg

Requirements /Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
• Community service in State (2 years).
• 3 – 5 years proven experience in medical sales or a related field in State.
• Experience with Tender Processes and Out-of-Tender Products
• Tender Processes: Demonstrated expertise in managing and executing tender processes, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Proven ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve successful tender outcomes.
• Out-of-Tender Products: Extensive experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing out-of-tender products. Ability to identify and leverage alternative procurement strategies to meet organizational needs while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
