What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree preferred
  • Prior professional work experience required:  Minimum of 3 years credentialing experience (or a combination of Credentialing and TU work experience preferred)
  • Ability to interpret and analyze a variety of different kinds of business information; Ability to identify, articulate, and solve complex problems based on submitting business unit needs and local governmental regulations; Ability to determine when to escalate issues
  • Consistent management and processing of all assigned work in a timely manner
  • Independent judgement and discretion to render membership approval/declination with little oversight by manager. 
  • Ability to maintain focus, flexibility, organization and adjust to continual re-prioritization without necessary direction/input from supervisor/manager; Strong attention to detail; Attentive and responsive to fast-paced turn time requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Professional Interaction with internal business unit team members and/or external business officers
  • Proficient to advanced office computer skills; Ability to navigate on the web securely and within terms of such website
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain extreme confidentiality in all matters relating to the position.
  • Generally performs independently.
  • Provide hands on training to entry level associates as necessary.
  • Collaboration with management, potential customers, Sales and BU as point of escalation when needed, for complex problem solving
  • Consistently maintain SLA requirements with respect to quality and production

Impact You'll Make:

  • Performance of due diligence examination and or investigation on more complex cases based on the nature of the business and the intended usage of the request.
  • Authentication of end users permissible purpose/authorized uses based on local government regulations and laws. 
  • Deeper dive into the analytics necessary to make accurate decisions on more complex requests such as Finance, collections, attorneys, etc.
  • Examination and investigation via Third Party tools and/or resources; as well as research of online resources that can be used as compensating resource equivalent to third party tools and/or resources approved in the US
  • Determination, verification and authentication of applicant’s federal, state, city/municipal and other government regulatory requirements including those on international soil
  • Assessment and determination of applicant’s business legitimacy based on local government requirements per applicable country
  • Enforcement of Trans Union policies regarding credentialing and ability to make recommended amendments to the same, based on working experience
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties and projects as assigned.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
