Collaborates with VP, Human Resources and Company leaders to manage the design, processes and procedures for compensation and benefits ensuring compliance, internal equity and market competitiveness. Plans, analyzes and develops total reward programs which align with business objectives and attract and retain top talent. Designs and manages company wellbeing program to promote a culture of health and wellbeing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation

  • Manages compensation program including market data collection and analysis, compensation review process and provides guidance to leaders on compensation decisions.

  • Works in conjunction with VP, Human Resources and HR Business Partners in the annual promotions process.

  • Partners with HR leader to develop, implement and maintain compensation policies, practices and procedures that are compliant, ensure equity and are consistent with Company culture and values.

  • Collaborate with leaders to ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices.

Benefits Management

  • Designs and administers competitive and compliant benefit programs.

  • Conducts benefit auditing for accurate associate records and billing.

  • Reconciles COBRA enrollments with benefit carriers, provides COBRA elections to payroll and manages regulatory COBRA reporting (ACA, etc).

  • Serves as primary contact for benefit vendors and partners.

  • Leads and coordinates benefit enrollment and education process including new hire benefit enrollment sessions, life events and open enrollment.

  • Manages 401(k) Plan and IRS 5500 filing.

System Administration and Reporting

  • Leverages current systems to create efficiencies for Payroll and Human Resource departments.

  • Works with HRIS Analyst to manage electronic file feeds between HRIS and carrier systems.

  • Enhances the associate experience through automation resulting in self-service options for associates and managers.

  • Creates and manages reporting related to benefits, and compensation.

  • Manages reporting for ACA regulatory compliance.

Wellbeing

  • Manages company wellbeing program and initiatives to promote a culture of health and wellbeing.

  • Coordinates and oversees annual health screenings and flu vaccine clinics.

Projects and Other

  • Performs special projects as recommended by the management team or Vice President, Human Resources related to compensation and benefits.

  • Recommends new approaches for continuous improvement of practices and policies, such as simplifying or enhancing forms and processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements before going into job)

  • Bachelor’s degree in field related to Human Resources Business Administration and/or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in human resources including 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits.

  • Experience with compensation and benefits administration in complex HRIS system.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Workday HCM.
