As a Risk & Compliance Advisor, you will play a key role in bringing our Insurance Risk and Compliance Framework to life — supporting our people to make confident, informed decisions that align with our risk appetite and values, and drive our risk culture.

This is a Permanent opportunity with flexibility to be considered Full Time or Part Time.

What you will be doing:

In this dynamic and collaborative role, you will:

• Support the development and continuous improvement of RAC Insurance’s risk and compliance strategy, frameworks and processes.
• Help maintain critical documents including the Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite Statement, Incident Policy, Risk Culture Plan and more.
• Co-design and roll out engaging training and guidance materials that embed a strong risk culture across the business.
• Collaborate with both Line 1 and Line 2 teams to uplift risk maturity and support the annual risk management declaration process.
• Assist in delivering RAC Insurance’s Risk Culture Plan through education, awareness, surveys and reporting.
• Build strong working relationships across the organisation and actively contribute to team learning and development.

What you will bring:

• Experience in risk, compliance or governance roles — ideally within financial services, insurance, consulting or a regulated industry.
• Sound knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks (APRA, ASIC and industry codes a plus).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex risk concepts and influence stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
• Qualifications in risk, finance or a related field are highly regarded but not essential.
