Job Description

Role Purpose: 

 

Become a global SME for the domain: 

  • Validate the process for creation and maintenance of master data records increasing consistency across regions and act as liaison between domains. 

  • Administer master data workflow tools, processes and the execution of mass updates. 

  • Be the expert and go-to person for tactical business and technical issues resolution within the master data team. 

  • Provide first line of support to the team and the business for high complex issues impacting master data process and quality of data. 

  • Lead proper maintenance of SOPs collaborating with all process stakeholders to ensure processes are fully documented and compliant. 

  • Coordinate the implementation of controls and regular checks to ensure compliance with internal control, SOX Controls, global standard, business rules and regulation. 

  • Assist the development of VMS and identification of requirements to effectively track KPIs.  

  • Become CI advocate for the domain. 

  • Positively influence the business by leading training to internal customers, CI projects or leveraging data, analytics and actionable insights to deliver quantifiable results. 

  • Generate consistency, efficiency, and productivity improvements by leveraging process improvement, standardization and automation to generate white space. 

  • Engage stakeholders to drive awareness and identification of business use case scenarios that demonstrate the importance and ROI of sustained quality master data. 

  • Lead projects through the proactive identification of process gaps and interpretation of business rules and policies. 

  • Work in partnership with ITS and the business teams to implement new master data technologies that enhance process efficiency and drive effective master data quality: 

  • Represent the domain for global data governance council to ensure global consistency. 

  • Take ownership of issues and project tasks to drive them to completion ensuring that business processes are not disrupted by changes. 

  • Lead small to medium projects internal to the master data team for a single domain.

Functional/Business Skills: 

  • Expert in Material Master Data principles, quality, practices and their relationship with business. 

  • Experience with MDG (Master Data Governance). 

  • CI/LEAN experience. 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. 

  • Advanced SAP user. 

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power App, WinShuttle, Macro and/or SAP scripting. 

Key/Required Qualifications and Experiences: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering or related field. 

  • 8-14 years of Master Data management experience. 

  • B2 or C1 English level.
