We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team in London as part of our Finance function.
Your Role: You will be reporting to the Director of Financial Control, Money 20/20, you will be a key member of the team responsible for maintaining strong financial control for the division, producing accurate and timely financial information, fully supporting the local Singapore and Thailand statutory relationship and owning the balance sheet for the brand
Key Responsibilities
Own the balance sheet, with thorough review of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, detailing remedial actions and be able to provide clear understanding and justification of all balances – requires strong relationship with Group Finance and the Shared Service.
Own the capex across the brand – ensuring all projects are capitalised on a timely basis and depreciation charges are fully captured; regular review of the asset register to ensure accurate reporting for half and full year accounts; working with Group Finance to understand all shared resources and impact on the brand
Working closely with the Director of Financial Control – drive and fully support the local Asia statutory audits (Singapore and Thailand) providing all backup and audit requests on a timely basis
Key point of contact for all audit enquiries on the brand areas in relation to the Group statutory accounts, organising the evidence and clearing all audit points within tight deadlines
Working closely with the Tax Department - responsible for monthly overhead recharge and forecast adjustments; provide support for all Transfer Pricing calculations
Management of local VAT - Netherlands, Singapore and Thailand VAT submissions and reconciliations
Key point of contact for the brand in all Internal Audit and compliance requests, support for all Shared Service queries alongside ensuring the business is set up for smooth processing and work closely with Group Finance with all internal requests
Provide month end reporting as well as Working Capital budgets and forecasts, be part of the Debt reviews ensuring adequate bad debt provision is held;

Your Experience
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you will be working with various teams and stakeholders
Someone comfortable with managing multiple and at times, competing deadlines; hands on and proactive
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Someone who is curious, that wants to learn and grow with the business
ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent Qualified
