Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot

  • Design and expose RESTful APIs for front-end and third-party integrations

  • Deploy and operate services on Azure App Services with Key Vault and Application Insights

  • Implement and support basic Azure Functions

  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis

  • Improve system observability, monitoring, and resilience

  • Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot

  • Strong experience with microservices architecture

  • Cloud experience with Azure (App Services, Key Vault, Application Insights) and exposure to GCP

  • Strong REST API design and implementation skills

  • Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, integration testing, mocking)

  • API documentation and contract testing using Swagger / OpenAPI

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

  • Proficiency with Git and version control best practices

Focus on enhancing cloud-native design and deployment practices on Azure by adopting scalable, resilient architectures and optimizing application configurations for the cloud. Improve observability across services through better logging, metrics, alerting, and production monitoring to enable faster issue detection and resolution. Strengthen system resilience and fault-tolerance by implementing patterns such as retries, circuit breakers, and graceful degradation. Expand automated test coverage, including unit, integration, and API contract testing, to improve quality and confidence in releases. Continuously stay up to date with emerging Java, Spring, and cloud technologies and apply relevant advancements to improve system performance and maintainability.
