Role and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Revenue Management: Own strategic planning and execution to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for the category. Utilize advanced analytics, data modeling, and predictive insights to optimize revenue growth and market share of SEA.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct complex data analysis using SQL queries to extract insights from Tableau and integrated databases, transforming raw data into actionable business strategies. Leverage statistical methods and forecasting models to refine strategic decisions based on weekly performance reviews.
  • Demand Forecasting and Inventory Optimization: Lead demand forecasting efforts using data modeling to align with supply chain teams, ensuring efficient inventory management for the category.
  • Promotional Strategy Development: Design and manage the Promo Calendar in collaboration with Product Management (PM) teams, utilizing historical data and performance metrics to inform future promotional campaigns.
  • Demand Generation and Merchandising: Drive demand generation and site merchandising activities across platforms, employing A/B testing, data visualization, and predictive analytics to optimize campaign performance.
  • Product Roadmap Planning: Contribute to product roadmap planning and execution, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and customer needs through data modeling and user experience (UX) analysis.
  • Configurator and Marketing Strategy: Influence the roadmap for Configurator, Consumer Electronics Journey (CEJ), and marketing messaging, leveraging insights from data visualization tools and predictive modeling.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Prepare status updates on key activities and programs using SQL queries to analyze performance data, supported by forecasting models to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Funnel Analysis and Conversion Rate Optimization: Assess traffic and conversion rates (CVR) for the Category Configurator, conducting funnel analysis (upper, mid, lower funnel) to identify optimization opportunities through data modeling.
  • Performance Metrics Analysis: Analyze detailed performance metrics by sellout platform, applying statistical techniques, forecasting models, and data visualization to identify trends and improve strategies.
     

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree required; Analytics or Statistics preferred. MBA is a plus
  • 6+ years of experience in Product/Trade/Category Marketing experience for Technology, Consumer Product and/or Consumer Electronics is required.
  • Extensive experience implementing category strategy, preferably in eCommerce. 
  • Knowledge and passion for direct-to-consumer eCommerce business practices and operations. Digital UI/UX enhancements experience a plus.
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed organizations.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience with Tableau and Confluence required.
