Roles Responsibilities ​​

        Manage supply of polymer and interconnect material

        Supplier key point of contact for supply execution.

        Define Materials Buy rule and execute to buy rule. Owner for PO management, order confirmation, rescheduling and raw material liability

        Develop and ensure demand service level and safety stock attainment are met. Global WOS owner and own supply allocation. Perform demand supply insight analysis. Host Global WOS review with leadership team.

        Drive supply fungibility across network,

        Publish forecast to supplier on weekly basis

        Be the owner of supply shortage resolution.

        Supplier product /process EOL management

        Build and develop materials specific supply execution strategy, include Materials and Key Raw Materials (Tier 1) capacity planning and readiness. Perform regular monthly/quarterly review or necessary to drive capacity readiness and bottleneck resolution through response to capacity need request.

        Prepare and present forecast, capacity and OTD/LTD in supplier QBR/ASE commercial meeting.

        Participate in MST meeting

        Monthly survey of supplier lead-time and perform LTD/OTD metric review.

        Responsible for Info record Leadtime update on monthly basis

        Quarterly Negotiation with supplier on Capacity and Leadtime (Assembly)

        BKM and drive improvement

        SME for system and tools and process

Supply Management Functions

  • Support Leaders to work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan and calibrate on global strategic direction of supply assurance for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites

  • Be the key responsible point of contact for supply assurance for assigned material groups

  • Accountable for key metrics, ie. demand service level, WOS inventory, Supplier performance, inventory management, PO management, raw material readiness and supply capacity management.

  • Drive supplier Capacity readiness to support NPI/HVM production ramp through collaboration with Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing

  • BKM and drive improvement

  • SME for system and tools and process

  • Provide insights and drive on procurement initiatives and productivity improvement

Interface with Stakeholders, Procurement Partners, and Suppliers on Supply Assurance Strategies

  • Ensure stakeholder requirements are met with cost of ownership justification

  • Communicate strategic goals, supply fulfillment plans, initiatives and targets to stakeholders, suppliers, and global procurement teams

  • Maintain relationships with senior executives at sites

  • Initiate and sustain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic Solutions

  • ​Develop and maintain expertise in Supply Assurance through relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and industry trends

  • Assist to implement or augment processes

  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Global Procurement

  • Maintain close interaction with procurement category teams to ensure holistic supply assurance approach

  • Manage conflict and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Education 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in: 
• Engineering 
• Supply Chain Management 
• Related field of study 

  

Experiences 

Minimum 5 years' experience in one or more of the following: Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement, Supply Chain 

  

Qualifications 

·       Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving mindset and skills. 

·       Possess communication and influencing ability and a persuasive advocate. 

·       Strong influencing and relationship management skills. 

·       Innovative and teamwork focused. 

·       Able to work independently as well as with a cross functional team. 

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and knowledge of SAP will be added advantage.
