An ARMO Mechanic is responsible for maintaining oil field equipment such as Wireline and Slickline tools in accordance with operating specifications, while conducting mechanical inspections and recertification, using moderately complex diagnostic equipment, and reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy. The role involves configuring test stations and systems, facilitating third‑party repairs when required, and analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests while troubleshooting equipment problems. By applying analytical ability, the mechanic is continuously finding solutions to difficult technical problems, maintaining records, and scheduling equipment maintenance. Responsibilities also include maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs, inspecting and disposing of parts and equipment, complying with HS&E policies and procedures, and handling projects as assigned.
