Job Title: Senior Associate, Business Development (External title: Business Development Manager)

Location: Bangsar South, KL

Department: B2B Sales

As the Senior Associate, Business Development, you will proactively secure new incremental business in the Malaysia market, via an end user focused model and a high level of collaboration with the distributors relevant to the target segments. You are also responsible to support the distributors sales force in terms of product knowledge, market intelligence and joint end-user engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and achieve set targets in accordance with annual sales targets
  • Identify and evaluate potential new large end user business and develop an appropriate strategy to secure the account
  • Install product trials, manage site surveys, and supervise dispenser installation roll outs at the end user premises to ensure a successful transition to SC Johnson Professional
  • Meet regularly with distributor sales teams to agree on collaborative activities and end user targets
  • Hold review meetings at agreed intervals with distributors to review progress against agreed targets
  • Fully train distributor sales teams on our products and applications – “train the trainer” as well as ensure training is updated on a regular basis to improve join end user engagement
  • Regularly analyze promotional activities, targets, daily and weekly personal objectives and trade show results

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in relevant sectors, prefers healthcare segment experience
  • Successful sales track record of consumable products
  • Experienced in prospecting for leads, and navigating environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
