Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal customers.

As part of Wealth and Private, the Insurance Retail and Advice Partnerships Crew has end-to-end responsibility for CommBank’s partnerships with AIA, Hollard and Petsure.

We support the proprietary digital and frontline sales and service teams to meet our customers’ needs for Insurance and Retail Advice.

This role sits within the GI – Strategy & Incubation squad to ideate and implement solutions that engage and retain our existing GI customers through education, effortless renewals and claims processing, and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the analytics group is providing in-depth, digestible and visual campaign analysis for all NBC campaigns in a timely manner.

  • Assist Retention/Acquisition analytics and planning teams with various analytic projects.

  • Support the leader in building a multi-year insights and analytics strategy.

  • Assist with creation and management of analytics governance council.

  • Working jointly with our external business partner – Hollard.

  • Regularly liaising and collaborating with internal/external business stakeholders and partners to influence product design, features, pricing, and policy to ensure they meet our customers’ needs.

  • Leveraging data analysis and “deep dives” to determine any risks and opportunities and recommend and implement actions to optimise the P&L, or customer outcome.

  • Advanced skills in Transforming Data using SQL and solid in Graphic Visualisation using Tableau.

  • Hands-on experience in Python is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement and management skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving capability with a risk mindset – ability to identify, assess and escalate any potential risks relating to change communications or future deliverables across Crews.

  • Experience in Retail Banking and/or Wealth/Insurance would be advantageous.

  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple streams of work, effectively prioritising and delivering to deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and navigate around ambiguity.
