About the Team

Join our innovative Signals Intelligence team, where we collect and analyze vast amounts of data to drive actionable threat intelligence. As a key contributor, you'll develop and maintain scalable systems that monitor and scan the global digital landscape, providing critical insights to enhance SecurityScorecard’s flagship ratings platform and other products. Collaborating with threat research and cross-functional teams, you'll define and refine the requirements for identifying emerging signals and vulnerabilities. About the Role

Join our team and work with cutting-edge technology at scale. Every day, we collect and process terabytes of security data, transforming raw information into actionable insights. In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Design and develop Python based applications including testing, optimization and scaling
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and data engineers to empower and evolve the culture of data driven decision making.
  • Peer review of design, code and tests
  • Develop distributed application using Confluent Kafka platform
  • Automate deployment of distributed applications with CI/CD, release management and release communications
  • Manage the infrastructure of bare metal or cloud (AWS) compute instances.
  • Provision, fine-tune Linux (Ubuntu,Debian) based instances, setup firewall, and other configurations
  • Utilize Ansible or similar configuration management, IaS to deploy and scale
  • Debug performance and other issues in all environments
  • Manage metrics, alerts for Kafka and Python code instrumentation (DataDog, Sentry)
  • Maintain SLA for uptime and code deploy
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, or supporting high performance distributed systems using Python, Kafka and Bash
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and other misc Automation
  • 3-5 years of experience in Linux (shell or other scripting), networking
  • Some experience with cloud and cluster computing
  • Network Security - TCP/IP protocols , vulnerability, port scanning

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications and experience, country and city location, and may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards and equity, among other company benefits.
