What You’ll Do:

  • Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation

  • Deliver care in a Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center environment

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Accurately document care and educate patients and families

  • Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with critical thinking and prioritization

Qualifications

Required

  • Current Montana RN license or compact license

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (RQI) within 7 days of hire or prior to independent patient care

  • Knowledge of professional nursing practices, patient care standards, and medical terminology

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to prioritize, adapt to changing patient conditions, and function effectively in a team-based environment

  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department or acute care experience

Emergency Department Certification Timeline

  • ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire

  • TNCC and ENPC within 1 year of hire

Shift:

Variable - 12 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: 3 12- hour Variable Mid-Shift Coverage, Start times are: 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
