About the Role

Dow Jones Real Estate & Workplace Team is seeking a coordinator who will report directly to the Manager of Workplace Evolution. You will design, implement, and manage many aspects of the employee experience including; in-office events, the office welcome experience for employees (office onboarding), and engagement with the office (using meeting rooms, booking desks, etc). You will help create a blueprint for office event programming so that, where appropriate, we can standardize and scale to fit our global portfolio. You should have engaging people skills, strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, a willingness to work hard, and a commitment to being a team player. You will be based in our New York City office.

You Will:

  • Introduce events that embody and elevate the Dow Jones culture and our values.
  • Support our forecasting and budget for in-office events, globally.
  • Partner with the Communications team to develop communications strategies for employee engagement and awareness of in-office activities.
  • Help build an events playbook that will enable our events to be scaled.
  • Coordinate with our respective People Business Partners, our internal resource groups, and our vendors / suppliers.
  • Map out events for the year across our global portfolio.
  • Create and manage the timeline and workflow for events, coordinating with all appropriate parties.
  • Assist with creating a methodology for meeting room management in our space.

You Have:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant career experience working within a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests.
  • Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with people and partners across all levels within the organization.
  • Attention to detail, and are a strong project manager.
  • Future focused thinking, ability to think globally.
  • High school diploma, Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay Range: $50,000 - $65,000
