Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect specializing in enterprise architecture, security, and scalable application design. This pivotal role involves defining, developing, and maintaining architecture standards, leading complex solution delivery, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards within large-scale enterprise environments. The Solution Architect will contribute to organizational strategic objectives by delivering resilient, secure, and efficient platforms, fostering best practices, and mentoring technical teams across projects and chapters.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks and tools (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) (12+ years)
Extensive knowledge of security standards such as encryption, identity and access management, SSL/TLS, and security controls (e.g., OWASP, ISO 27001)
Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
Experience with enterprise data modeling, API gateways, and security protocols
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Preferred:
Experience supporting regulatory compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC, GDPR)
Exposure to digital transformation initiatives, AI/ML integration, or blockchain technologies
Support for security audit and governance practices
Overall Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices aligned with organizational and industry standards
Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across applications and platforms
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical and business needs; translate these into architecture blueprints
Support solution delivery by providing architecture guidance, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments
Ensure architectural compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards
Lead architecture reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments to uphold operational excellence
Guide teams in adopting cloud-native, containerized, and microservices-based approaches
Drive continuous improvement in architecture processes and support the automation of security and compliance controls
Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and training to architecture chapters and teams
Stay current with industry best practices, emerging security threats, and innovative architecture patterns

Day-to-Day Activities
Develop enterprise architecture blueprints, standards, and strategic technology roadmaps
Lead complex solution design discussions, impact analysis, and feasibility studies
Collaborate with project teams, security, and operations to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant platform delivery
Conduct architecture reviews, security assessments, and performance tuning activities
Support cloud migration, API integration, and container deployment efforts
Implement technology automation to improve operational security and efficiency
Mentor and guide technical teams and architecture chapters
Document architecture decisions, standards, and security guidelines for compliance and audit readiness
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
12+ years* of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, or security governance
Certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, or cloud provider architecture certifications (preferred)
Extensive experience navigating complex systems compliance, security, and risk management frameworks
