➡️ What you'll do

• Set the Prudential Foundation: Design, implement and maintain Qonto's internal prudential standards and frameworks, calibrated to its status as a credit institution;
• Drive Key Regulatory Exercises: Define best practices for ICAAP, ILAAP, and SREP responses, ensuring they reflect both regulatory expectations and Qonto's operational model;
• Provide Expert Risk Coverage: Deliver expert-level coverage across all risk types — credit, operational, market, liquidity, and beyond;
• Advise the Business Proactively: Act as a trusted advisor to front-line teams, support functions, and senior management on any prudential or regulatory risk matter;
• Represent Risk in Governance: Represent the Risk function in key governance committees — Risk Management Committee, Credit Risk Committee, ALCO, and other relevant forums;
• Drive Efficiency Through AI & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate regulatory and risk processes and champion continuous improvement within the Risk function.

➡️ What we're looking for

• Prudential Compliance Experience: You have held a similar role at a bank, payment institution, or financial regulator. You know what prudential compliance looks like from the inside, and you bring benchmarks we can actually use;
• Industry Knowledge: You have a solid background in the banking sector (Credit Institutions) with hands-on experience across credit, operational, market and liquidity risk;
• Regulatory Fluency: You have hands-on experience with ICAAP, ILAAP, SREP processes, and the CRR/CRD framework;
• Analytical Mindset: You have calibrated judgement — you know how to find the right level between international standards and operational constraints;
• Soft Skills: You are autonomous and rigorous, with strong stakeholder management skills;
• Language: You are fluent in French and English.
