Role Summary
The JDE PTF Distribution Analyst will support warehouse, distribution, and logistics operations within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, focusing on goods movement, inventory handling, and outbound distribution processes. The role involves functional support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of end-to-end distribution flows.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Distribution Operations

Provide functional support for JD Edwards Distribution modules supporting PTF processes.
Support warehouse operations including picking, packing, staging, and shipping transactions.
Ensure smooth execution of inbound and outbound distribution activities.

Goods Movement & Inventory Control

Support goods movement transactions such as receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments in JD Edwards.
Ensure accurate inventory updates across warehouse and distribution locations.
Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies impacting distribution and fulfillment.

Logistics & Fulfillment Support

Support outbound logistics processes including shipment creation, confirmation, and dispatch.
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and planning teams to resolve fulfillment issues.
Assist in tracking and resolving delivery or shipment-related exceptions.

Functional Support & Issue Resolution

Act as L2/L3 functional support for PTF distribution-related issues in JD Edwards.
Perform root-cause analysis and work with technical teams for fixes and enhancements.
Support testing activities including unit testing and UAT for distribution changes.

Documentation & Process Improvement

Maintain functional documentation such as SOPs, process flows, and test scenarios.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and distribution performance.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and standard operating procedures.


Required Skills & Experience
Core Functional Skills

3–4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Distribution.
Strong working knowledge of:

Warehouse Operations
Distribution & Fulfillment
Goods Movement Transactions
Inventory Management


Experience supporting PTF / distribution workstreams in ERP environments.

ERP & System Knowledge

Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne functional expertise in distribution and inventory modules.
Understanding of end-to-end distribution data flow from inventory to shipment.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional and offshore delivery teams.
Clear communication skills for coordination with warehouse, logistics, and business users.


Good to Have

Exposure to multi-warehouse or multi-location distribution environments.
Experience in ERP support, enhancement, or rollout projects.
Basic understanding of distribution and logistics KPIs.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Distribution.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
