What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer 2, you will get the opportunity to work with our world class talent in implementing and maintaining features for the data mobility area of our product in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

You will:

• Contribute to feature design, development and maintenance of data mobility capabilities for our next gen storage product, and build domain expertise along the way.
• Participate in coding, bug-fixing, end-to-end integration and documentation tasks for the team owned features and components.
• Be an active team player and help deliver team commitments.
• Knowledge of emerging AI trends, tools, and best practices to spot simple ways to improve product features and efficiency

Essential Requirements

• Bachelors (Technical)/Masters preferred, with 0-4 years of strong design, development and software development
• General knowledge of software engineering concepts, algorithms and design patterns
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language, such as JAVA, C++  or Python
• Familiarity with Python scripting and experience developing REST API based interfaces
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and exposure to using AI tools or frameworks in software development

Desirable Requirements

• Excellent analytical, problem solving and debugging skills

• Familiarity with CICD pipelines and developer efficiency tools

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $155,000.
