IDEXX is seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Laboratory Scientist to join its Veterinary Histology Department in Eight Mile Plains, home to the largest veterinary lab in the Southern Hemisphere. The role involves working with a professional team to deliver accurate and timely pathology results for pets, with duties including specimen dissection, embedding, microtomy, staining and other key lab tasks.

What You’ll Bring:

• A Bachelor of Medical Science or equivalent qualification

• Experience in a medical laboratory; histopathology experience highly regarded

• Strong IT skills for routine LIMS use, digital imaging and data entry

• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a commercial lab environment

• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• A commitment to IDEXX values, quality systems, and health & safety standards

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
