How you will create an impact

  • You will be responsible for engaging directly with senior leaders across multiple functional areas within the commercial insurance area within the UK & EMEA ensuring an understanding of their data and analytics needs and priorities.
  • You will work with senior leaders across the business to help create and implement strategies related to their data and analytics needs ensuring alignment to our global data strategies.
  • You will also be responsible for Product Ownership supporting execution within our Global Data Warehouse release train ensuring execution is aligned to the highest business priorities, Data Office strategy and that sunset opportunities are being realised.

What you will need to succeed

  • Proven experience partnering with senior business stakeholders to drive data and analytics transformation initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of General insurance metrics and financials.
  • Ability to consult and interact effectively with all levels of the organization and develop strong business partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated leadership acumen, problem-solving skills, and innovative rigor.
  • Thought leader – ability to define the data and analytic needs of key partners based on business outcomes and align work to strategic data and analytic plans.
  • Working knowledge of data management, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
  • Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations.
  • Strong execution and analytical skills
  • Program and project management skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and with changing priorities.
  • Positive and collaborative attitude and team player with strong communication skills.
  • Degree educated.
  • Extensive experience in portfolio management, program management, business analysis, data analysis, business intelligence or analytical experience (commercial insurance domain experience preferred.)
