For Linklaters Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Business Development Team Leader (Advisor) role.

About the Team
Join our global team responsible for supporting business development and marketing activities across Linklaters’ practices and sectors. Collaborating with lawyers and business teams worldwide, our team covers client development, pitches, directories and strategic initiatives.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading and managing a Warsaw-based BD support team.

  • Providing active hands-on service delivery alongside the team within the area of specialisation by working closely with a group of key internal stakeholders.

  • Crafting comprehensive client, sector, and practice content (e.g. client-facing collateral, CVs, and pitch input, etc.)  to facilitate client engagement.

  • Ensuring efficient delivery of BD and marketing support services.

  • Collaborating with product, sector and client relationship teams.

  • Coordinating legal directory submissions and client-facing materials.

  • Implementing and improving BD processes and use of Salesforce.

  • Supporting team members’ development and workload management.

  • Maintaining knowledge of BD best practice and industry trends.

This role involves the line management of one of the BD Hub teams comprised of Assistants. This includes:

  • Managing performance, workflow, deadlines and quality.

  • Fostering a strong client service ethos and empowering the team.

  • Providing clear direction, feedback and regular communication.

  • Acting as an escalation point and supporting recruitment and onboarding.

  • Ensuring HR processes are followed in line with firm policies.

Apply if you

  • Have over two years of experience in business development or marketing in a law firm or professional services firm.

  • Demonstrate strong project management, organisation and time management skills.

  • Have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Bring a collaborative approach and people management or leadership experience.

  • Show initiative, solution-focused thinking and resilience under time pressure.

  • Are committed to high quality, continuous improvement and client service.

Location and working hours

  • Warsaw (hybrid model - 2 days a week from office)

  • Working hours for this position are 10:00 to 18:15
