At Stryker, this role plays a key part in enabling compliant, data-driven tax decisions within a complex and highly regulated global organization. You will work closely with the Tax Manager to translate tax law into practical guidance, supporting both compliance and strategic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in U.S. tax, incentives, and global reporting while partnering across the business.
What You Will Do
- Support the Tax Manager in preparing corporate income tax computations and related statutory tax packages.
- Prepare tax memoranda and conduct tax research to support compliance, planning, and business initiatives.
- Lead the research and development tax credit program in accordance with Act 60-2019, including analysis, documentation, and ongoing compliance.
- Prepare and support tax filings, returns, licenses, and indirect tax obligations across local and foreign jurisdictions.
- Execute monthly tax-related close activities in alignment with U.S. GAAP requirements.
- Coordinate with external advisors and auditors to support audits, filings, and technical reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional teams gather data and perform tax analyses supporting research, incentives, and reporting.
- Design, document, and implement process improvements to strengthen controls, efficiency, and audit readiness.
What you need:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or finance.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its application to tax reporting.
- Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication in a global environment.
- Experience in public accounting (Big Four), medical devices, or multinational organizations.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting research and development tax credits or government incentive programs.
- Exposure to tax audits, tax provision preparation, or complex compliance environments.
- Experience contributing to process improvements, documentation, or reporting enhancements.
Travel Percentage: 10%
