What We Are Looking For:

We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Global Fraud Messaging Prevention Specialist to join our dynamic security team. In this role, you will focus on identifying, preventing, and mitigating messaging fraud across our global platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative strategies that strengthen our fraud prevention protocols. Your efforts will play a crucial role in safeguarding our customers from emerging threats

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and analyze messaging traffic to detect patterns that may indicate fraudulent activity
  • Create and deploy effective fraud prevention strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to strengthen and enhance platform security features.
  • Quickly and efficiently respond to fraud incidents, conducting thorough investigations and documenting findings.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest fraud trends, techniques, and threats impacting messaging systems.
  • Provide education to internal teams on fraud prevention measures and tools.
  • Address messaging fraud escalations and respond to Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) from carriers.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or military experience required.
  • Exceptional skills and experience in fraud detection within messaging or telecommunications, along with data analysis, with a strong commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest telecom fraud prevention techniques.
  • Solid understanding of telecommunications protocols and messaging technologies. (e.g., SMS, MMS)
  • Familiarity with anti-fraud tools and technologies, including analytics and machine learning applications.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Thorough comprehension of the English language.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Bonus Points:

  • Certifications in cybersecurity, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Experience working in a global or cross-cultural environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements on fraud prevention.
