Job Title: Patient Care Assistant
Salary: £22,000 per annum
Location: The Barn Animal Hospital, Basingstoke
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, 1:4 Saturdays (8am - 4pm), no out of hours.
Shifts are variable and will be discussed in more detail at interview.
Due to staff expansion, we are looking for a fantastic new Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our incredible team at The Barn Animal Hospital.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn. Client service and patient care is of paramount importance to us, therefore passion for quality improvement is necessary.

Role and responsibilities
Assisting Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses
Providing reception cover
Animal handling and husbandry
General cleaning and practice maintenance
Assisting in preparing animals for surgeries
Communicating with the operating team to set up in between procedures
Assisting with x-rays and ultrasounds
