As an Accountant within nVent, you will be handling general ledger activities such as posting journals, accruals, provisions, revaluations, account reconciliations, inventory and fixed asset accounting.
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
Coordinate AP and AR functions from a statutory compliance perspective
Perform month-end closing activities according to US GAAP
Conduct BS reconciliation and analysis
Ensure VAT compliance, check invoices in cooperation with the Shared Services Center, supporting the preparation of VAT returns, intrastat reporting
Prepare statistical, national bank and statutory reporting
Support internal and external statutory audit
Actively participate in the automation and standardization of financial processes!
YOU HAVE:
Academic background in Finance, Accounting or related fields
Ideally approx. 3 years of experience in similar position; previous experience with manufacturing accounting would be preferred
Practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulation
Knowledge of MS Office, M3 - would be an asset!
Language skills: Polish (native or advanced), English (intermediate or above)
