The SAS Platform and Data Valorization Department is currently looking for a Data and Artificial Intelligence Advisor to join the team as part of an initiative to govern its SAS platforms in a modern cloud environment (Azure). As a Data and Artificial Intelligence Advisor, you’ll support our projects and help us achieve our objectives by implementing and updating our tools and processes. You’ll help deploy and evolve advanced tools, strengthen our AI governance framework and build the team’s AI capabilities. You’ll use AI-informed approaches to help us govern a large IT ecosystem at scale. You’ll also implement market best practices to ensure the robustness, traceability and evolution of our models. More specifically, you will be required to:
Help define and implement AI-based tools to support SAS platform governance.
Provide oversight for analytics and artificial intelligence from a SAS governance perspective.
Work with the Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance, responsible AI practices and governance across the data and analytical model lifecycle.
Assess and monitor model quality, bias and performance.
Advise and support business, analytics and IT teams.
Implement monitoring, audit and continuous improvement mechanisms.
Stay up to date on evolving practices, SAS capabilities and regulatory requirements.
Develop scripts and workflows to manage training data and prompts in the data lake.
Implement versioning, traceability and compliance mechanisms for models and their artifacts.
Work with data engineering teams to ensure our AI solutions are resilient and protect confidential information.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, AI or another related discipline
A minimum of six years of relevant experience in machine learning
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Significant experience in machine learning and developing AI models
Proven experience deploying and operationalizing AI models in cloud environments, including Azure
Strong command of AI and LLM frameworks and related practices (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API)
Hands-on experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Azure Machine Learning, CI/CD pipelines)
Strong programming expertise (Python required, Java and Bash are considered assets)
Azure certification or proven ability to operate effectively in this ecosystem
Knowledge of French is required
