POSITION:  Changeover Labor                  

DEPARTMENT:  Operations  

REPORTS TO: Changeover Manager/Supervisor               

FLSA STATUS: Part Time/On-Call/Non-Exempt

COMPENSATION:  $22.00 an hour

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under direction, event set-up and changeover to include moving, arranging, assembly and disassembly, setting and removal of items needed for various events.

Participates in Event set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to, chairs, tables, riser/stages, reader boards, stanchions, lecterns, piano, office furniture and equipment, etc.

Cleans equipment when necessary.

Makes recommendations for the improvement of all phases of the facility operation.

Works safely at all times, notifying the Lead or Supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents.

Perform other Duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE  

Required: None

Desirable: Previous experience in a similar line of work

License/Certificate:

Prefer forklift certificate

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of: Safe work practices

Ability to: Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing using the English language

Receive direction both verbally and in writing and follow those directions precisely

Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times during the workday

Skill to: Operate radio devices

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires lifting at least 50lbs.without assistance for 40% of the workday; walking for long distances for more than 50% of the workday; sitting, bending, and stooping will be required; subject to adverse conditions; irregular hours will be required.
