Job Summary

The role is responsible for owning and shaping planning capabilities within a defined domain (e.g., inventory, deployment, lifecycle) across the Service Supply Chain Planning COE. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy, driving complex initiatives and improvements across planning processes, systems, and data, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational performance.

The role combines:

  • Process ownership — ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable planning processes
  • Project leadership — delivering transformation initiatives and business outcomes
  • Product ownership contribution — supporting evolution of planning tools and solutions

The role leads cross-functional initiatives, structures complex problems, and enables data-driven decision-making by providing clear options and recommendations to stakeholders. In addition, the role contributes to capability development within the team by mentoring less experienced team members and promoting best practices across the COE.


Responsibilities

Project / Program Management

  • Lead complex transformation initiatives or programs across planning domains
  • Define and manage project scope, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Structure complex problems and translate them into clear workstreams and deliverables
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders (Supply Chain, IT, Operations)
  • Manage program governance, reporting, and communication
  • Ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes (service, inventory, cost)
  • Coordinate with IT and partners (e.g., PTC) to ensure proper solution delivery

Process Ownership

  • Contribute to the design and improvement of planning processes within initiatives
  • Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with standardized and scalable processes
  • Support process documentation and adoption within the transformation scope
  • Provide process expertise to ensure end-to-end consistency across planning areas
  • Support KPI definition and tracking within initiatives


Education & Experience Recommended

Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field. Typically 7–10+ years of experience in supply chain planning or related roles, including:

  • Process improvement or ownership
  • Project or program management
  • Exposure to systems/tools and transformation initiatives.


Knowledge & Skills

  • ERP / planning tools (SAP, Servigistics)
  • Data analysis
  • Project/Program management methodologies
