Job Description Summary

To be part of the Installation team for the Doggerbank project. The installation team is responsible to engineer the offshore installation strategy of the wind turbine components and provides the methods, all the transport and installation tools and manpower, and is responsible to manage the offshore execution.

The team is looking for a project manager to ensure the on-time delivery and readiness of the assets to be mobilized onboard the installation vessel.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Do the bridge between the installation execution team defining the needs for tools and the different internal and external parties
  • Drive multidisciplinary team to ensure on time delivery of the complete set of tools and wind turbine spare parts 
  • Maintain accurate and detailed Material Take Off list
  • Ensure follow-up from Purchase Request until delivery at site including fulfillment and supplier progress
  • Follow-up the re-allocation of existing asset between projects
  • Review and ensure accuracy of Planning and procurement plan
  • Organize and participate to the kitting and the containerization of the parts based on the mobilization strategy defined by the operation team
  • Organize with the mobilization engineer the delivery plan of the tools to the different sites of mobilization
  • Ensure the readiness of the documentation packages to ensure international logistics (PL, PN, S/N, custom code)
  • Plan with the tooling engineers any testing, FAT and SAT of the major tools such as nacelle spreader, tower gripper and blade lifting tool
  • Liaise with Direct Sourcing for the procurement and the delivery of Wind Turbine spare parts
  • Place PR's and ensure approval by the responsible parties and issuance of PO's.
  • Deliver weekly reports and status of the perimeter

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or logistic, or strong experience in offshore project execution with a minimum of 6 years of experience in wind, construction or O&G sector 
  • The ideal candidate will have gained experiences in logistics prior to move to project management for offshore or remote construction site operation
